Dropped off one week early and no GPS tracking

For the price, they did a really good job. They marked a million dings/smudges to avoid liability but there was no major damage when I received my car in MN. I didn't chose to have my car top loaded but this was not a problem and actually saved a lot of money.

The inconvenience started when I booked the car pickup date. I was told that for a 7/30 ETA, I should have it picked up on the 14th. However, on the 23rd, a week before I would arrive in MN, I received a call asking where was I so I could pick up my car. Obviously the customer service provider put down a delivery date of Monday the 23 instead of Monday the 30th. She tried to put some of the blame on me but in the end agreed to not add additional charges for storing the car until my original agreed upon date of 7/30. Clearly these companies (DAS, ABF, etc) need better networking/communication so that these kinds of mixups do not happen! However, to keep prices low I do understand that it's hard to integrate so many local businesses but it's the 21st century. If Supershuttle can do it, certainly DAS and ABF can.

Furthermore, their claim that there is GPS tracking was totally false in my case. I checked everyday on the website and it still listed my car as in-transit in the CA loading facility - even after I got the call the my car was in MN!

Finally, when I signed off for my car, DAS actually gave me someone else's papers to sign. A few days later, they had to come back with my actual papers.

But in the end, they got my car to MN without damage and very fast (a week early!) without extra charges. So I still recommend them although I can only hope that their service is normally better than what I experienced.
