I dropped my car off at the Gardena, CA facility. Estimated delivery time was 10 days. The car did not depart Gardena until 3 weeks. I called repeatedly and each time Customer Service simply told me the car was still on the lot. NO KIDDING!
When the car finally arrived I noticed the bottom part of my bumper was missing. I then found that it was placed in my back seat.
DAS claims dept called me as I was driving home to notify that my car was damaged. NO KIDDING!
I brought my car into a collision center and additional damage was found to my coolant and turbo. Total damages were $5000+. My car was in the shop for 2 weeks. So that's a total of 6 weeks that I did not have my car. DAS covered the damages minus a $250 deductible. Why in the world would there be a deductible in this case???
6 months later I am moving again so I called DAS to see if they'd offer a tremendous discount due to my poor previous experience. they only offered $100 off the internet quoted rate.
the only positive feedback I have is their online tracking system. it accurately showed my car's status (which most of the time was stationary at the drop off location).
DO NOT EVER USE DAS! So what they are the official Ebay movers. What idiots buy cars off Ebay anyways?
