I had my 2010 Porsche Cayenne delivered to me by Depedable Auto Service(DAS). The route was from San Diego, California to Charlotte, NC. I was a little concerned at first with this long of a haul, but the DAS representative helped me get more comfortable with the process, He informed me of their insurance coverage and the optional transport methods that were available to me to insure a uneventful delivery.I chose the top level option to be sure that nothing harmed the SUV coming from a top loaded vehicle. However I did not opt for the covered delivery since the expense was more significant and the delivery would have taken longer. The representative made me comfortable with the open trailer method. The pricing was very competitve and the the top load option was an inexpensive bit of extra insurance worth buying. I asked a lot of questions about the process and got a clear understanding of the quality of DAS service. The vehicle was picked up at the dealer where I made the purchase and transported to my driveway, approximately a 2500 mile haul! Just so happens DAS was able to find a transport driver who lived about 10 miles from my house. What are the chances of that on a pick up on the opposite side of the country! When the vehicle was delivered the driver unloaded it and allowed me all the time I needed to look it over well to ensure there was no damage. I did not find any. The vehicle was actually fairly clean even though it had just crossed the country in the winter season. The driver was knowledgable about the type of car I had purchased and understood the special care that a Porsche requires in transporting. I was very concerned with this process when I started but the experience and service I received from DAS was outstanding. I now would have no problem with doing this again should the need ever arise again in the future. Of course I would look first to DAS!
