My initial contact with DAS led me to believe they were very knowledgable of vehicle transport and offered available options such as guranteed top load that I was previously unaware of and subsequently selected for my transport.

My vehicle was picked up on time where it later sat at a hub for a week before final transport. I chose DAS for the value of cost of service and the 7 to 10 day delivery window excluding weather delays.

My vehicle arrived 9 days later than originally targeted. I did recieve some compensation for the delay ($200 ) but had to lobby for it and wait for upper company management approval. In esscence, for missing the target delivery date by almost twice the duration qouted, I was initialy offered $150 credit for which I suggested a $300 credit to align the value I recieved from this service. I settled on the $200 credit to put the experience behind me.

General feedback:
1. I was never notified that there would be a delay in my shipment, and the tracking service indicated an arrival ETA days after that ETA had passed - I felt like I had to pry the real eta out of them
2. One of the customer service reps indicated we were still on target for the ETA delivery shown on the website, even when it was a physical impossibility to make the delivery happen at that point in the game
3. Once the vehicle left the hub, the to my door window of 1 to 4 PM was missed by almost 2 hours

Summary:
1. If you are not concerned when your vehicle will arrive, and will not be financialy affected by a late arrival than originaly targeted, then DAS may be for you.
2. The only highlight to this experience is that the vehicle arrived undamaged
3. Although I feel that DAS failed misserably in keeping me up to date to changes with my transport, they were very courteous with the numerous status calls I placed, as well as when I was lobbying for a credit.
