Like most I was apprehensive when it came to choosing a shipping company. I received a lot of responses from other companies. Needless to say I settled on this company; before I did sufficient research. Anyhow, the first time I called I talked to Clair; she was pretty friendly and seemed to be honest. The second time I called to set up the shipment I talked to Beth; she also seemed friendly and honest. I explained in "detail" that I needed the car picked up on Friday, 28 May, however if they needed to arrive one day early I could probably work with them. I needed specific days because my son was graduating college and he needed help getting everything packed, shipped, etc. I was flying in on 26 May and returning on 31 May. After talking to Beth she assured me that they would pick up on the 28th or maybe the 27th. Here’s where it gets good. The truckers called me on 22 May and said they need to pick up on Monday the 24th. I explained that my sons needed the car and all of the other details mentioned earlier. They said that was the only day they could pick up; they were working their way down the coast. So basically I was at their mercy. They then said that they would drop off on Sunday the 31st. They called me later to tell me they would be there on Saturday at around 4-5 pm. They then called back and said they have arrived, it was noon. The problem was that I wasn’t there and my wife was stuck with the debacle. They advertise that they have 35 trucks of their own, so you would think things would be more reliable. I honestly don’t believe they have any trucks and they are sort of a scam, just another broker. Bottom-line, use a more reliable company!
