This company has failed to deliver my sons truck from california to North carolina. It took the truck that was picking up the truck 3 days to get from San Francisco to our lacation which is no longer than 1 hour away even in traffic. He told my son he needs more money because something was wrong with his truck. We havent even had our truck picked up yet and this guy is asking for money. my sons grandmother wiered over 400 dollors to this guys bank acount. We would call and he would tell us he was on his way and then not show up. We finally, after 3 days of this calling him contacted him he said he would be there soon and to bring the truck to a shopping center or big parking lot so he could load it.My son drove the truck to the parking lot and waited, the truck no showed again. We called again he said he would be there soon we waited until 10:15pm he finnaly got there. My son and husband and younger son met the trucker. My husband drove the truck on to the bottom ramp it was the first truck behind the cab now. My son tryed to instruct the truck driver how to start the truck if needed he said " dont even tell me any of this Im not touching your truck its going to be the last truck off I wount have to move it." Well that was the last my son saw of his truck. We have contacted the company Cross Country Auto they still have yet to produce my sons vehicle. The trucker how ever called my son for yet more money he says he had to take my sons truck off of his truck and need to get special eqipment to take it off the truck this is after he already took the truck off. My son was asking him why he needed special eqiment to get his truck off and the guy said something was wrong with his truck and he couldnt get it off. Well the truck was fine when they drove it on the truck so obviously someone messed up my sons truck. This story gets worse. We continue to call the company and have they done anything yet to compensate my son NO!! My son has no vehicle, not only because it has not been delivered but because now its broken. My sons grandmother called the company and they did say this trucker has tryed to charge other people more money than originally agreed on before. Well WHY DO THEY STILL USE HIM?????. They told my sons grandmother not to give him any more money except what they owe him and not to give him the money for renting special equipment to take my sons truck off his truck. ARE YOU KIDDING!! by now Im thinking this guy isnt getting a penny and consider the truck stolen. WHERE THE HECK IS THE TRUCK AND WHY?????? ISNT IT RUNNING?????????. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO SHIP YOU AUTOS!!!!!!!!!!
