I had a contract with Cross Country Auto Transport (CCAT) to pick up my car on July 7th and transport it to my new address across the country. I was traveling from Pennsylvania to Oregon

Not only did they breach their contract, but also they misrepresented themselves through false advertising and phone communication. I didn’t get my car picked up until two weeks past the original pickup date. This usually wouldn’t be such a big deal, however, I had to leave on the 8th of July, and it caused a major inconvenience.

Initially, the sales person (Thomas Molina a ‘senior’ sales representative) had specifically told me that the car would be picked up on July 7th. I was leaving to relocate via airplane the next day that is specifically why I went with CCAT. Thomas Molina guaranteed the pickup. I wrote this fact on the fax that he sent me for the $250 deposit.

I made this extremely clear, ‘you can guarantee this pick up on the 7th? Is that correct’ I asked. He said yes. This is why I wrote guaranteed pickup July 7th on the fax receipt that I sent back to him.

I would have hired another company since the price quoted by CCAT was higher than other companies I checked ($1400), but Thomas Molina asked me that if I wanted to spend some ‘extra money’ that he would guarantee the pickup on July 7th. I agreed.

Paying a high price is a drag...
Having to impose on friends to watch the care for 3 weeks is a drag...
Having no car for almost a month is a dra...
Renting a car is a drag...
This total experience was a drag... x 2.
