Unreliable, Don't be fooled by the low price

I booked transport with Cosmos a month in advance of a major move cross country. I followed up with Cosmos prior to my "pick-up window" to ensure pick-up could be made on time. The service rep I worked with, Mark Bolton, was courteous and assured me that they would have the car scheduled for pick-up within the given window. But, ultimately the window passed and Cosmos was unable to schedule the car for pick-up in the agreed upon time frame and provide the service contracted.

For weeks after the expected pick-up window, I regularly followed up with Cosmos. Again they were courteous and assured me they were trying their best - yet after a month of no luck in scheduling the car for transport Mark's final response was, "sorry, I've done everything I can do for this car." Leaving me TOTALLY in the lurch without my car and stuck in the frustrating situation of having to start all over a month after Cosmos had agreed to ship the car - poor service, poor show!

Then, once working with (better) transport companies, I learn that there are restrictions as to how a vehicle can be packed - front passenger seat must be vacant of an items and 360 degree visibility required, which was not included in the terms and rules presented by Cosmos. So now I am 3000 miles away from my car, which is packed with household items I have been waiting for for weeks, and I have to figure out how to get the car unpacked - and then what to do with my stuff.

At the end of the day, I learned that Cosmos's low price only meant they have NO IDEA what they are doing. Their low bid price ($990) made it impossible for them to broker a transporter for my vehicle - so don't be fooled by low price. Their inability to deliver caused me to be out time, money and now my belongings - so don't be fooled by corteous service, they're bogus.

Renee's (reneezpatey@gmail.com 706-254-0441) quote was given according to this statement on her request "I would like to set up a ship date that aligns with your ability to get the vehicle". Her pick up location was in Charleston SC which is a difficult location being out of the way for drivers. She was notified of this. As far as the items inside the vehicle, we do not allow this, she must have assumed and never read our contract or asked us.
