DONT USE THIS BROKER - COMPLAINTS WITH BBB

Dealt with Mark Bolton @ Cosmos Auto Transport. I accepted brokerage bid to transport car from Asland Ohio to Florida. I stressed repeatedly both verbally and written that I needed car picked up by specified delivery date because car was online auction win which stipulated I had 10 business days from close of auction to pick up vehicle otherwise daily storage fees would commence. When Mark relayed he found me driver once again I reminded him. I called driver day of scheduled pickup whose response to me was that he had nine loads ahead of me and could not give me an exact date or time, not even estimated. When I called Mark to relay, he had a very non-chalant, a "whatever" attitute and when I asked him to assist in getting another driver asap his reponse was "what do you want me perform miracles". I then went to Better Business Bureau website and found he has 6 complaints all citing him specifically and his lack of response or helpfulness. When I asked for $75 broker fee back, he referred me to terms and conditions of agreement. Please take this under advisement. I rarely blog but felt compelled to let Public know not to do business with this brokerage. I do not care for people or companies who do not stand behind their word and who couldnt care less about their reputation as long as they get their money and sucker customer(s) out of it by standing behind terms/conditions agreement which stated that broker cannot guarantee pickup or delivery due to unforseeable factors. I guess a driver who decides to take on 9 loads while you play the wait in line game is what they deem "unforseeable".

We are A rated with the BBB because compasidering how many vehicles we ship we have very few complains. Now to explain what happened. Ivonne Morales (ivonnemoral@hotmail.com 954-464-3391) had her vehicle scheduled for pick up on the 8th. Everything went according to plan until she talked to the driver and the driver told her he did not have an exact time of pick up but will call her as soon as he knew the exact time. She went nuts as you can see in this post. The driver was not late and was not rude. She then called our office only to yell at our staff the same way. There was no reasoning with her.Then the driver is mad at us on why we assigned a crazy to his truck. Also our cancellation fee is $50 not $75, $25 was credited to her account. Most companies retain the full deposit as cancellation fee.
