My car was picked up from Washington, DC to be shipped to Oakland, CA. My car was picked up on the 9/23 and didn't get delivered until 8/4/12! That's 2 weeks! Lets start from my first unprofessional experience with them. After the little guy picked up my car from Washington, DC about 5 days later he called me YELLING saying my car was overweight and if I didn't accept the $200 charge then my car was going to be LEFT IN VIRGINIA!! First of all you don't call a PAYING customer and yell at them saying that they must pay the overweight charges. Their form of proper documentation is sending a text message saying that I will pay the overweight charges. When I called the third party contractor I spoke with Bobby and asked him why my car hasn't been delivered he said the truck's transmission broke down. Then I proceeded to ask him why didn't anyone call and tell me my car was going to be late since the truck's transmission broke down. Bobby replied stating, "Why didn't you call us." What kind of response is that from a professional that I AM PAYING to deliver my car!!! I felt like that was rude and unprofessional. I told Bobby that I was going to write a review about their poor customer service and he decided to give me a "discount" on the "overweight charges." Bobby stated that my car was 400 pounds overweight, but they never put it on a scale! How can you charge someone extra when you don't have an accurate way of determining if the car is ACTUALLY overweight. Bobby and the little guy driving the truck said they "eyeballed" the car. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! How can you charge someone extra if you don't have proper documentation? I will NEVER use this company again nor will I recommend it to any of my other friends/family members who are relocating. It was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $1300!!! I may even forward this complaint to the Better Business Bureau! WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! IT IS NOT WORTH IT!
