Low price but never picked up my car

I had arranged transport from Pennsylvania to Florida and had a 5-day window for pickup. I had a number of reassuring calls from Continental that the service would be arranged and even stayed an extra one-half day in case a last minute dispatch could be made. But to no avail. They said that "the market had shifted" whatever that means. Luckily, I was in a position to drive my own car, but that is not what I wanted. Continental was very apologetic and agreed to waive a fee that applied if they did not have a full 10-day window for shipping. Thanks for small favors... This was the lowest price quote- seems they underestimated what portion of the fee they could keep and/or what drivers were willing to do a pickup for.
