Lied and refused to return emails and phone calls

NEVER USE CONTINENTAL AUTO MOVERS! They lied about the cost and they lied about the truck that was to pick up our cars.

Rafael promised only a truck with a lift or extended ramp would be used to pick up our cars. My NSX is lowered and can not go up a normal ramp and Rafeal knew this. We discussed it several times verbally and in emails. The trucker order had no instructions regarding my requirement. The trucker had several pieces of wood, but that wasn't enough. Luckily, I had alot of lumber and we made a ramp to load my car. Gave the trucker all my lumber so we could unload my car in SC. Called Continental and left detailed message, but got no response.

When I picked up my car the driver required $900 to unload our cars. The contract I had with Continental was only an additional $875. The trucker showed me his emailed order, which was for $900. Called Continental twice, but they refused to return my calls. Paid the drive his $900, piled up lumber to unload my NSX and we got our cars.

I sent Continental several more emails and made several calls to Rafael and I also left several messages for the owner, but Continental refuse to respond.

I have seen several other reviews where Continental Auto Movers used the same scam to rip off customers. Others apparently got ripped off for more than I did. Contract a price, get a deposit, then contract a higher price with the trucker, leave the customer with no option for the customer but pay the higher price or not get your car, then Continental hides in the weeds and refuses to return communications.

I don't do business with CROOKS and hope NO ONE ELSE would be STUPID ENOUGH to use Continental.

John, to further resolve this issue please call 786-347-7825. The driver incorrectly collected an additional $25 and we want to be able to cover that expense. You did agree to a $875 C.O.D.. I apologize for the response time of our representatives but we full intention to rectify the problem.
