Never attempted pick up yet wand to keep deposit

I received a quote from Consolidated after submitting an online request for a quote to deliver a car from NJ to Colorado. Time was of the essence and needed to be delivered within 1 week for my son. Circumstances were explained and delivery was guaranteed. (which were confirmed in emails from Kristina and verbally with her boss prior to signing the agreement) A $150.00 deposit was required and i was assured the car would be picked up that evening or the next day at the latest. I explained the importance if it needing to be there in colorado within one week.

I never heard from them again. Noone contacted me and needless to say the car was not delivered as promised.

Now they have the nerve to claim the right to keep the deposit of $150.00.

I was going to let it drop until i received an unsigned statement from the company to my cc company, saying that I never answered their call from their "dispatch" department. what a joke. The terminology they use makes it sound like they are a trucker rather than than a broker. I was never contacted again and they never delivered.

Despite having no problem assuring me the car would be delivered to my son as was very very important, and having no problem taking my money, they now have the nerve to say the deposit was non-refundable??

IN MY OPINION THIS IS A VERY SHADY OPERATION THAT WILL SAY ANYTHING TO GET THE MONEY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY CAN DELIVER.
