I had a vehicle transported from Florida to NY, via Century Auto Transport, which has an address in Pembroke Pines, Florida, BPX 954-791-6866. I was given a scheduled delivery time, by the driver, the night before the date of delivery, of between 11 AM and 2PM. Around 8 AM, I received a call that the driver was running late due to trouble with law enforcement and his log book. Then I was told delivery would be between 8pm and 9pm. I waited at the predetermined destination, near the highway, making it easier for the driver. At 9PM I called the driver and he said he was delayed about 40 minutes and was on his way. I again called around 10PM and was given the same runaround, "I'll be there in 30 minutes." At 11PM I again called and was told that he just offloaded a vehicle and was enroute to me, "40 minutes." I got these lies up until he finally delivered the car, around 1AM. Then the car was damaged. I had a brand new paint job and it appeared the vehicle had been scraped, several times, on the car carrier via taking it on and off several times. The damage on the lower portion of the front bumper, both sides, was fresh. I notified the driver and documented this on the pickup slip. I contacted Century Auto Transport Inc, spoke to Leslie (the owner, who is the only person who answers the phone), and was advised to get a repair quote. After getting a quote, faxing it to him and sending him pictures of the damage, I began another runaround game of lies. First he said that the damage must have been overlooked when loaded, because cars don't scrape when loaded. (I had a brand new paint job and told him this again) Then he said that the repair estimate quote was too high. Then after several weeks in total, he said he was sending me a check for a price under the repair quote. Now after over 2 weeks, still no check. His insurance deductable is more than the damage quote too. Now he will not return calls.
POOR BUSINESS ETHICS.
This has to be the worst business I have ever dealt with.
