My car was picked up very late and I was told on the last date of my pick up window for the car that there is no carrier to pick up in the binding cost estimate provided by the company. This is the day I am moving out of the city physically as well and had to rely on a friend/neighbor to ship my car when they actually found a truck to pick up my car (5-6 days later)

In addition, I was told I need to pay $200 extra and there will be a truck picking up 5 days after this last date of pick up window and I declined the offer and asked them to keep looking for a carrier to pick up earlier in that week as I needed it delivered sooner than later in WA state. So, the rep called me again in 20min saying if I paid this extra $$ some one would pick it up today and when I agreed to do so, after a few mins I got an email with "dispatcher information of pick up after 5 days with increased cost". Followed by which, the rep calls me to tell that they lost that pick up truck for today and has kept the one on "HOLD" for the later in the week incase he doesn't find another carrier earlier in that week.

So, I start following up every few hours on a carrier/dispatch information and he has no answer. Next day I find out he is on vacation for almost a week The lady who helped me with my order said - " Once the dispatcher email/information is sent out we are never looking for other carriers earlier or later in that time frame for a particular order." In that case, it is obvious my assigned rep was just NOT giving me the right information (or lying) as he had never kept this truck (which was 5 days late pick up) on hold, it was actually assigned my order and he was never looking for another carrier in reality.

In addition, they played a game with me asking me if I would pay $200 extra for my car to be picked up the same day for which I said yes and that truck was never arranged since it never existed. Thus, my order for pick up was immediately placed on the later truck avail 5 days after the actual date with more $$.

I have used this same company couple years back to move from WA to OK state and had no issues in the middle of peak winter & X'mas break with another reps helping me out. Therefore, I decided to use the same company but henceforth, I will not recommend it to anyone.

blaine@cascadevehicleshipping.com 360-834-7898. Devashree, your vehicle was available for pick up as of April 30th, and we had it picked up on May 6th, as per the 7 day window you were quoted. The order was placed on April 25th and you indicated you needed pick up by May 2nd, but were unwilling to have the vehicle picked up before April 30th as you did not want be without your vehicle. I did find an alternate carrier to pick up on May 2nd, although by the time you responded to my message concerning that carrier picking up that day, that carrier had already moved on. I am sorry we could not accomodate the short pick up window given, but with the extra 5 days between April 25th and April 30th things probably would have been.
