This review is for Kimberly and Cascade transport services who have been great. I will do a separate review for the trucking company.


I submitted a request for estimates to ship my brand new Mazda from Idaho to Dallas, I was contacted by many companies with widely varying estimates. After researching the shipping process, checking out the various companies through transport reviews and the Better Business Bureau, I decided to use Cascade based on the favorable reviews and the reasonable transport fee quoted.

Kimberly was my point of contact with the company and she proved to be great at answering all of my questions and giving me the details of the shipping process. She posted my car for shipping right away, and had a trucking company scheduled within a few days. This part of the process was seamless and less of a hassle than what I expected. Once the car was scheduled for pickup and delivery, I kicked back and let everyone do their jobs.

The car was picked up later than estimated by a couple of days, but ended up being delivered on the estimated delivery day. There was some damage on the car when received, but the trucking company has since paid for the repairs. (Always double check the carrier and make sure that they are insured, although they will typically want to pay for damages out of pocket instead of using insurance). This is important information to know since the company that books the transport for you are unable to get involved with getting reimbursed for damages during transport. Anything that happens to the car during transport has to be handled by the trucking company. All the booking company can do is provide the trucking companies insurance information.

But, like I said, my booking company and their representative did their part of the process well.
