I placed the order on 7/7/10 to pick up my car from Boston, MA on 7/28 or 7/29 for delivery to KY on or after 8/1.
I first spoke with Jeff and he mentioned that even though I placed my order 3 wks prior to pick up date, they don't start looking for trucks until later so to call back after a week and he may have a carrier.
Called back a week later, and Jeff said it's still too early and to give him another call in a week.
Called back again a week later, which is now less than a week to pick up date that and Jeff says no carrier yet but call back again in a few days.
Called back again two days before pick up date and Jeff says still no carrier and for the first time says that July 29th was just a "target date" so they are not really bound to actually pick up the car by then. The problem was I was moving on 7/30 so no one would be here to give the keys to the driver after that date.
Called on 7/28 and still no carrier but Jeff says he will start "getting aggressive" with finding a carrier.
7/29, still "getting aggressive"
7'30, my moving day and Jeff is out of the office so the other rep told me they are still "getting aggresive" but I may need to make arrangements to have someone else give the driver the key.
Ended up giving my key to a neighbor and started my drive down to KY.
7/31, No Jeff and the rep says it's not likely to get picked up on a Sat so we'll have to wait til Monday.
8/2. Still no Jeff and spoke with Kim who says she is still 'getting aggressive' but cannot find a carrier.
8/3, spoke with Kim again and she could not understand why she could not find a carrier. She was very nice about it.
8/4, Still no carrier and no estimate as to when they'd find one. So I cancelled my shipment, booked a flight to Boston from Louisville and drove the car 900 miles back down to KY myself and arrived on 8/5.

This company could not find a carrier and the part that gets me is that they didn't even start looking until the last minute. If they had looked earlier, they may have been able to tell that there are no carriers heading down to KY from Boston and I could've made other arrangements. But their inaction/laziness meant I was left with no other choice than flying back and driving 16 hrs.
The only reason I gave them a star was because I felt Kim was really trying and sympathized with my situation but it was too late.
Since I cancelled my order, I am not paid for my review. This is my straight, honest experience.

Tim I'm sorry we did not find a transport for you it does happen sometimes. Keep in mind we did tell you that you are going to a tough state and it could take a bit longet than the 10 days. You only gave us 6 days from your pickup date so you did cut our time a little short. As far as our customer service we were always in contact with you as you stated in your review we talked everyday.I feel we did everything we could to find a carrier for you but if there not in the area there isnt to much we can do.
