I called in after comparing rates and reviews. Needed my car shipped on short notice from Indiana to California. First time shipping a car.

Kimberly was polite and very clearly and patiently explained how things worked and what part was to be played by the company, which by the transporter, and which by me.

Before the pick-up there was an issue locating the truck and some miscommunication between the driver, Kimberly and myself. She was great in the sense that she'd call the guy on my behalf to try to get an ETA. Can't blame her for the driver not calling me back or telling her one thing and me a different one but it did take away a bit from the overall experience as I had to juggle hotel reservations, travel arrangements and car rentals to try to accomodate between the pick-up and drop-off and the company was aware of my situation.

Once or twice a day I would call Kimberly for the latest information until it became clear that the driver was not 100% reliable. So instead of running interference Kimberly went ahead and gave me the driver's cell phone number so I could have all the arrangements made directly with him. Genius!

Another surprise was when I had to drive out to where the truck was for pick-up and delivery. Not a big deal for me, specially since the transporter paid for my taxi fare when I had to go get the car which I thought was a nice touch. Again, not Cascade's fault.

Bottom line is they got the job done as best they could with what was at hand. Everything on Cascade's side was flawless and there was a genuine commitment to getting my needs taken care of.

However, as far as I am concerned they are the bridge between me and the transporter, and there were some wrinkles on their (transporter's) end. That's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars.

I would use again in the future for sure (specially now that I know their rates, comparing to some online car sale sites the relocation fees are nuts!)
