Overall the shipping experience was pretty much as expected, and I was generally satisfied with the customer service. This was the second auto I've had shipped, and realized going in that flexibility is the key to satisfaction. My car was shipped from a relatively obscure location in WY to a slightly less obscure location in CA. Once I placed the move order I never received any unsolicited phone calls from Cascade Vehicle Shipping until the pickup was scheduled to occur. I called every three days or so to check on the progress and was always treated politely. Although Brenda was my assigned agent, I spoke to three or four other agents during the course of the transaction. It didn't make any difference though as each one was knowledgeable and helpful. It was more of a team approach which worked out well. I had a window of seven consecutive days when I needed to have the car delivered. The car arrived on the fourth day of that window. The actual pickup was delayed a little less than a day due to a/c and tire problems that the truck driver experienced with his tractor/trailer. I understand completely that driving across the country in the middle of summer is challenging and unpredictable. I was given the name and phone number of the driver. He was extremely helpful and kept me updated on when he would pickup the car. Once he was on the way with my car he called me the night before he expected to deliver the vehicle. He kept me updated the next morning and let me know that the delivery would be later in the afternoon than originally expected. I was pleased with the entire process. The bottom line is my car arrived safely within the requested delivery window. I don't think you can really ask for anything more.
