Megan - inaccurate estimates

The original quote for the transportation of my vehicle was very misleading for both time and money. Our vehicle was not picked up during the 10 period despite repeated phone calls to Cascade, increasing the price, and specific questioning about what price we needed to be sure to move the car. (We had no vehicle and were paying daily for a rental). In the end, we waited 13 days before the vehicle was picked up and only after we increased the bid by $150. It then took twice as long as estimated by Cascade to deliver the vehicle to me (8 days in transit instead of 4). When I got the vehicle is was so dirty, I could not see out the windows to drive. I am glad to report that no damage was done to the vehicle. The customer services was very friendly and prompt, but I'm sad to report very inaccurate in there estimates. In the end because of rental cars and inaccurate information, it would have been cheaper and much fast for us to ship our vehicle through the most expensive of 30 quotes that we got in this process.

Thank you for your honest response JulieAnn. I do want to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for you. I make sure to tell all of my customers that the estimated time frame for dispatching your vehicle is 1-7 business days, which was about how long it took for your vehicle to be dispatched. If I didn't explain that well enough, I am sorry for that. I know the time frames I gave you were a little off, but again that is because they are an estimate. Our company has to mainly work off of the schedules of the drivers and that is why we give our customers estimates. We understand that trucks can break down and weather can stop them from entering some areas. I apologize for the times of pick up and delivery being off and I will work on improving that. I'm sorry that your car arrived dirty, but it was an open carrier and there isn't much the driver can do for avoiding that.
