The people at Cascade (the broker) were professional and responsive. I was less pleased with the carrier that Cascade hired to actually the vehicle, CAA Transport of California. On the positive side, the equipment seemed adequate and the vehicle was delivered on time with no damage. The fact that pick up was a day late did not greatly concern me. However, the carrier did not contact me with the change in pickup date, which meant that I spent a day and a half waiting around for the pickup. (I was finally contacted by CAA Transport, probably because after I complained to Cascade someone there contacted the carrier.)

However, my vehicle was driven almost forty miles by the CAA Transport driver. He told me that he needed to go get a part for his truck but I have no way of knowing whether that was in fact the case or he simply wanted to go to a New Year's Eve party. This was totally unauthorized use which I found totally unacceptable as the vehicle could easily have been damaged.

I would not use CAA Transport again.
