When i chose Cascade to ship my vehicle i thought that everything was going fine. Come to find out that two days before my move that i wasnt going to have a carrier for my vehicle. So i called another carrier to find a way to ship my vehicle and Cascade calls me back andsaid they found em a carrier, All Pro Transporters. When they came to receive my vehicle on Nov. 25th they loaded up my Explorer and broke off my passanger mirror. Then they popped it back on expecting everything to be ok. While on my way to move to Pennsylvania i was going to meet them there at the destination on Dec. 1st, 2009, but arrived a day early. I was trying to talk to them and tell them that they told me that they wouldnt be there till the 1st not the 30th. So I was not able to be there to pay in cash, and they would not take my credit card that they received the deposite on. So they made me Western Union them the remaining balance of $708 plus the taxs of $66 which came to a grand total of $774. I think that you should refund me my $66 since it was your fault that you arived earlier than the date you gave me and made me Western Union the money or i would receive my vehicle. I will contact the Better Buisness Bureau if i do not receive this. It was NOT my fault and should not have to pay for your mistakes. I hope to hear something back about this mannor.

Thanks

Douglas, We are sorry that the trucking company broke your mirror. We did everything we could to help you with the truck arriving early, however it does state that the pick up and delivery are estimates, not guaranteed or exact dates: The normal pickup timeframe is 1 to 10 business days. Pickup and delivery dates are contingent upon carrier availability and season. All dates and times given are an approximation. We cannot guarantee exact dates or times of when the vehicle will be picked up or delivered. Carriers may be subject to delays. Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. will not be held responsible for any expense related to a delay (car rental fees, storage fees, accommodation fees, etc.) Payment to the carrier is due upon delivery. Unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time, payment will be made with cash, cashier’s check or money order. Should delivery be attempted after proper notification (2 to 24 hours in advance to phone number provided) and the shipper (or agent) is 1) unavailable to receive delivery, 2) does not have the proper funds, or 3) refuses delivery of the vehicle, carrier will transport the vehicle to a nearby storage facility until the matter can be resolved. Shipper (or agent) will be responsible for any accumulated storage fees, redelivery fees, etc. Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. is an agent for you. We arrange for the transportation of the vehicle by finding an appropriate carrier. We do not own trucks or physically transport the vehicle. Our services end when the carrier is assigned and contacts you regarding pickup and delivery of the vehicle. We are sorry for the stress it may have added to your transport.
