I had put in an inquiry for 2 items. A 1999 Ferrari 355 and a open flatbed car trailer with a kids
fiberglass amusement train on it. Originally I was quoted $1050 for the flat bed car trailer. In our conversations it was apparent to me that Michelle didn't understand that it was not self propelled, it was a trailer. I reiterated that and she said she would have to call me back. At that time I gave her the dimensions of the trailer 24 feet long x 102" wide x 7 feet tall with the train on it. She called me back and said they would have to charge me an extra $250 for winching thew trailer on and off the trailer. That was fine. When the driver arrived he had a step deck flatbed trailer with no winch. He wanted the trailer up on the step over the fifth wheel. The ramps he had were not wide enough to allow the trailer to be put up there.Fortunately at my business we had 3 forklifts and loaded it and he was on his way.The driver from Admiral Auto Transport said not to worry he would take care of unlloading in Phoenix.I called Michelle and said that we had paid an extra $250 for the winching and there was NO winching, we had to take our time to load. She said that the $250 was their "fee". That they had to be paid for their work in lining up the trailer. If you'd like I can email the original quote for $1050.00. Then when the driver got to Phoenix we had to pay another $450 to get the trailer taken off the step deck with forklifts. Michelle was totally fine to work with and very pleasant, unfortunately I was looking to get a vehicle moved not a date!
Then I sent her an email telling her of my dissappointment in having to oay another $450 and 10 minutes later I get a confirming email that our trailer was dropped off and hoped we enjoyed our experience, this was from another agent.
They may be good with staright drive on, drive off cars but anything out of the ordinary they are not the company to use.

Jim, You dimensions were in the notes at all times for this transport. The company that hauled your vehicle Admiral Merchants was aware of the dimensions when they took this vehicle. They also knew this vechicle was a non working vehicle/trailer. It is unfortunate that Admiral did not accomodate your dimensions, but we provided all the information that they needed when they decided to take this load. I am glad to see that you thought Michelle was a pleasure to work with and apologize if you go the wrong impression with her. I have been instructed to contact Admiral Merchants and request that they refunds you partially because what they did was unacceptable. I will be looking in to this for you.
