I was looking online for someone to ship a BMW I had purchased from the BMW dealership in OH back here to my home in UT. I had called a few other places that were cheaper, the cheapest place I got was $715. Cascade's quote was $850 but they were happy to match their competitor, once they confirmed that the competitor was an equivalent class of shipper. I paid $215 as a deposit and the rest upon delivery. There were just a few things that happened that prevents me from giving a full 5 star rating.
1) Heather was great and seemed really eager to earn my business, however, there were numerous miscommunications between her and the dealership to the point where I had to call both Heather and the dealer to make sure they were communicating pick up times correctly to each other. To Heather's defense, she said that they were short staffed for a period of time.
2) The driver would not deliver my car to my house. He said that he was afraid the streets would be too narrow and that there'd be too many trees on the sides possibly scratching the cars. Well, I live in a brand new development which means my subdivision hasn't been here long enough to have big trees. Also, our streets are very wide and I've seen other neighbors use full size semi's to move in. Still he insisted that I meet with him at a strip mall parking lot in order to pick up my car. The only problem is that I live alone and did not have a ride out there. This was semi-inconvenient for me but in the end, I was able to pick it up finally.
3) Their insurance doesn't cover scratches. I was under the impression that their insurance would cover everything but it doesn't cover scratches. This may be true of all the shippers, so ask about it before hand.
Overall, I would still use Cascade again. Their customer service people are very polite and eager to earn your business. If they improve on these 3 points, they will easily earn 5 stars next time.
