I am a first time user of a vehichle transport service. After review of this web site, I was comfortable in contacting CVS first in light of their solid ratings and experience. I contacted and spoke with Norvella on August 13, 2008 for my car to be picked up on August 27, 28 or 29 and made my deposit as required. Norvella was pleasant and understood that the car would need to be picked up on the dates mentioned since I (nor anyone else) would be available to release the car after August 29. Additionally, I provided Norvella with 3 phone contact numbers and email address as she indictated that she would keep me informed as to the progress of securing the pick-up. After not hearing from CVS, I called and left messages on August 18 and 19th. for Norvella to return my call. I did speak to her on August 19 and she indicated that she was still working on my order. On August 20, as a follow-up of my contact with Norvella on the day before, I sent her an email with all my contact numbers again along with how important the timeliness of this service really is. No response to my email. Some kind of reply would have been nice.
So, hears the deal......to date (August 25, 2008), Norvella has never initiated a contact with me since the order was processed on August 13. With a potential pick-up date being only 3 days away, I was left wondering if my car was going to be picked up or not. Not a good feeling. My contacts with Norvella and Kim were pleasant, but the bottom line was there was no communication. I cancelled my order. Pleasant people .... no results.

Chris, We at Cascade appologize for your experience. I have been speaking with you since Thursday, and kept in contact with you. Your vehicle isn't ready unti the 28th. Like I had stated late last week, the trucking companies are just starting to post their schedules for this week. I understand your frustration, but we really shouldn't have had any problems finding you a carrier, you just had to give us a little time. It does state in our terms and conditions: The normal pickup timeframe is 1 to 10 business days. Pickup and delivery dates are contingent upon carrier availability and season. All dates and times given are an approximation. We cannot guarantee exact dates or times of when the vehicle will be picked up or delivered. Carriers may be subject to delays. Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. will not be held responsible for any expense related to a delay (car rental fees, storage fees, accommodation fees, etc.) Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. does not guarantee transport by any specific driver, carrier, or along any specific route. Again we apologize
