GREAT Up Front Service That Faded

Sarah did a wonderful job of contracting a company, Coast to Coast, that would move two vehicles from WA to VA for about $1,100 each. She was very patient and answered all of my questions. I was surprised at the number of 5* companies that required a follow up E-mail to my initial inquiry before I heard back from them (e.g. Angels, Hilton), that were outrageously priced (e.g. Red Carpet) or that responded with an obnoxious form letter-style E-mail that did not answer my questions. This industry's customer service leaves a LOT to be desired in my opinion, but Cascade did a good job to earn my business.

I was disappointed to learn after my vehicles were picked up, that the agreed upon delivery date had been advanced by four or five days. Given that I had coordinated the shipment from overseas and around an agreed upon delivery date, I had to scramble to ask a friend to receive my vehicles and to wire $1,950 to complete the transaction. The biggest let down was that I E-mailed Cascade on the 3rd of May for help and did not hear back until a second E-mail on the 9th of May. In the end, Cascade just blamed Coast to Coast. I would have preferred that Cascade work with Coast to Coast to defer my delivery to the originally agreed upon date. Lastly, "door-to-door" was within a couple of miles of both my pickup and destination addresses; I assume this may be standard(?).

I would use Cascade again if I could not find a comparably priced vendor.
