We were very nervous about picking a company/broker to handle shipping a high-end sports car.We needed the car to be handled properly because of its "like new" condition. It was hard to reach a real person at some of the companies we called from our Pacific Time Zone but Cascade answered the phone at 6 AM ! Diane was the first person we talked to and she was very knowledgeable.She also explained that Sarah would be our contact person and we met her on the phone as soon as she arrived that morning.We were pleased with their quote and the terms which would allow us to cancel at any time before the car was shipped. There was only a small deposit required when they actually were able to pick up the car. They apparently got right to work that morning as Sarah called us back in 1 HOUR to inform us that the car could be picked up in Maryland THAT SAME AFTERNOON. Partially luck we are sure but we were impressed none-the-less. Sarah confirmed by e-mail later that afternoon that the car had been picked up and gave an estimated delivery date of a week later (cross country ship) Sarah and the actual trucker were in contact with us by phone 1 day before the estimated date as the car could be delivered that evening.The trucker was a couple hours later than the 6pm est. but called again 30 minutes before he and his helper arrived at our house. Big enclosed truck that did seem to let some dirt in but the car after thorough inspection seems to have been handled carefully.(After dark deliveries require flashlights or other good lighting) The driver and his partner were pleasant and did not rush our inspection. We would hire Cascade Vehicle Shipping again should the need arise.
