After nearly 4 years of having my 1972 Ford F-100 in storage in Idaho, I decided to have it moved to my current duty station in New Jersey. I am in the Air Force, and couldnt move the truck during my first PCS. I used an online shipping data base to put it out there that I was in need of having a vehicle moved. I was shocked, no more than an hour went by and I was being bombarded by moving companies that wanted my business. I was even receiving multipul emails every week. The one company that stood out was Cascade Vehicle Shipping Inc. I spoke to Geri H. on the phone for about 20-30 minutes and expressed my concerns (vehicle has no motor, and specific pickup times) and asked if they had a military discount. Geri H. was very friendly and up front about costs and that they would not charge me until the truck was on the carrier in Idaho. They even have a military discount which did help sway my decision to choose Casscade. I did have a situation that only allowed for a weekend pick up at specific times. The first attempt to pick up the truck didnt happen, it was during the holidays and the original carrier didnt have any room left. The second attempt went smooth with an old high school friend and the carrier driver getting the truck loaded and on its way to Jersey. I was given the drivers contact number, and spoke to the gentlemen named Bill, he assured me that he would take care of my truck as if it were his own. Because of the condition of the truck, Bill had been approached a few times to sell the truck, and he told the would-be buyers that it was not for sale that it belonged to a customer. This really shows that Cascade Vechile Shipping Inc, only hire trust worthey carriers to transport vehicles. The truck reached New Jersey on time, and without any damage. Slightly dirty, but expected due to being transported during the winter months.
Overall I am exceptionally pleased. There is no doubt in my mind that if I have another vehicle that needs transported, that Cascade Vehicle Shipping Inc would get my business.
