I assigned my three cars to another broker which had a low price but they wasted a two weeks right up to the time we had to move out of our house. No trucks were enlisted to get the cars and after calling them many times I realized that my cars were never going anywhere. Then I contacted Casdcade and got a lovely lady named Dianne who explained the whole process to me which in a nutshell is that the cars are offered to trucking companies as a kind of bid. The higher the price the more likely a trucker or copmpany will want to take the job. So the trick is to price them high enough to get interest from a trucker but not so high as to be unreasonable to the customer(me). I cancelled my job with the previous broker and signed up with Cascade. Dianne repriced the cars at a higher but still reasonable price and got them assigned to a truck right away. Then she stayed on top of the situation and called me every day to let me know when the truck was coming and tried to expidite pickup since we were sitting on the floor inside an empty house. The truck came on time and got the cars and delivered them right away to our relatives on the other side of the country and Dianne kept us informed every step of the way. Everything went wonderfully and I am grateful for her help. Also a good review for River Bluff trucking who did the actual moving.
