The process of shipping my car should be described in 2 scenarios.  When it came to determining which company to go with, I felt all the different company representatives were very honest, knowledgeable and prompt.  They all explained the entire process and some even quoted me the prices that vehicles were being shipped similar to my size vehicle. All the initial online quotes were very high, ~$1400, but most of them were able to lower the price after I talked with them and explained my situation.  The reason I went with Jeff and cascade vehicle shipping was because they were willing to lower there deposit price to $175 and post my car shipping price at $750 which was the cheapest the other companies offered and was the price of a vehicle similar to my car (2008 Honda civic SI mugen).  I was expecting my car to sit on their board for a while but got a phone call the same evening saying someone wanted to ship the car.  Up to this point I was very happy with my experience. The second part is a little different.
I was told that the truck driver (Nikolai from NN transport company) was going pick up my car by 830pm.  We arranged to meet at a gas station because my neighborhood wasn't easy to maneuver a transport truck. He showed up at 1030pm and looked over the car in the dark with my phone flashlight to determine any damage on the vehicle. He was very thorough to the point he documented some very light scratches I have never noticed before.  It was pretty late and my wife and kids had to stay up to take me home after they took my car. I took video of the condition of my car just before he arrived during daylight to ensure it was going to be returned in the same condition. My friend in SC picked up my car and it sounded like the process was pretty difficult.  Nikolai called my phone saying he couldn't get in touch with my friend  and he would be ready to drop the car off in 10 mins, it was 10pm east coast time.  I was expecting more coordinating on the pick up vs a 10 min warning.
I was overall happy with the price and the time in which the whole process took place, but to get a full 5 stars I think some things could have been done better. I felt like Jeff was as helpful as the other company representatives, but wished he would have contacted be shortly after the delivery to ensure the process was completed to my satisfaction, instead the next contact I received from him was an email and voicemail ~ 1 week after the vehicle was dropped off to complete this survey to try and help him out. The customer service process of the transport company could use some major improvement since I spent most of this process dealing with them. And I would have like to have seen my car in SC to make sure it was well taken care of in the whole process before I filled out this survey but I wanted to help Jeff out. If you look at the big picture, my car did make it were I wanted at a reasonable price. I just need to confirm its condition and hopefully that will be good too.
