what can i say, not happy with the company. there were a couple of other reviews that had the same experience...lowball the price and then they said that the vehicle isn't moving at the price and have to put in a higher bid so as to get the vehicle moving and blaming it on the quote was 2 months ago but not even attempting to give another quote. no communication whatsoever from them, i.e. saw on website that the vehicle was available June 7th for pickup from port, i called on June 10th to see what the deal was with the vehicle still being at the port and was told that the person i had been dealing with was gone for the day and would call me the next day, she didn't, i called again and she told me they were still looking for a driver. had to put in a higher bid to get it moving (all the while the vehicle was sitting in port collecting storage fees) told them i was not happy with having to do this and they said that the original quote was from 2 months ago and it was high season and it wasn't going to move at that original quote. they put in the higher quote and of course it was accepted, received an automatic email on June 15th saying that the truck was in transit and was given the number for the trucking company...two things there, the number given for the trucking company wasn't correct, called Cascade and he asked what number do you have, told him, he said it's correct, I told him I called it twice and was getting a recording that the number wasn't right, he said to try again as it was Monday and they "do something with their phones because it is so busy", same deal, called Cascade again and this time he goes let me check the number and he read it to me and guess what, the number that I was given, the numbers were transposed. second, after calling the trucking company, the vehicle WAS NOT in transit, she was still arranging for a driver because she said it was a truck and it took more room, had more weight restrictions, etc. The one thing that Cascade did to appease me was pay the storage fees which would've been another $60. There was no communication whatsoever from anyone at Cascade, we always had to initiate the call, they also said an automatic email was sent saying that the original quote was declined because they could not find a driver, we never received that. They blame it all on the original quote being 2 months old, but guess what, the vehicle was on the boat May 23rd and at the port and available for pickup June 7th and also gas prices had dropped around .80 cents and in all that time they did not even attempt to have a driver available, they waited until the vehicle was there and high season began that they started to find a driver. Ended up paying almost $500.00 more than the price quoted.

Malia@Cascadevehicleshipping.com 360-834-7898 Kimberly@Cascadevehicleshipping.com Chris and Diana, Let me start off by saying we are sorry for the issues that arose during your transport. However, I am going to defend Malia at this point. You originally set up this transport with an employee who unfortunately left our company back in April. You dropped your vehicle off at the port in Hawaii around the 15th of May. Your vehicle sailed on a vessel that was a week earlier than you had set up for because you dropped early and never let anyone know. So as we are checking the status, we have to rearrange our carriers a week a head of schedule which causes us to lose the carrier originally assigned for your vehicle at the original quoted price. Yes from that point forward things did go down hill. Your vehicle arrived at the port and Malia did everything she could to help get this vehicle moved. We can send you the notes of all the carriers she contacted if you would like. Just because gas prices go down or economy changes, it does not change that carriers ask for certain funds. Once the pricing goes up it never goes back down even if gas goes back down. Carriers are not that stupid to shoot themselves in the foot to take less money when they know customers will pay it to move it. We finally found you a carrier after you cussed out my employees and refused to pay storage. I do have copies of those emails still if you would like to see those. Yes at this point storage was accruing and we agreed to pay that even though is states in our terms and conditions that we are not responsible for any storage. If order to avoid further storage you had the choice to keep your vehicle at the port, or accrue storage. You chose to have the vehicle picked up. So now we have had the vehicle picked up, its no longer accruing storage and you are still mad. They truck picked up your vehicle, took it to their main facility and loaded it onto a carrier and took off. Jesse the dispatcher for the carrier was in contact with you the entire time. Your vehicle was still delivered as scheduled from the timeline this carrier gave you. Again I am sorry that you feel you had a horrible experience. We did everything we could to help you, and explained to you every step of the way what was going on. We wish you the best. Kimberly VP of Operations
