I do not recommend using Cascade. In May, they quoted me a price of $1070 from Virginia to Fresno, CA, so I signed a contract to ship my car from VA to Fresno, CA for $1070 in late June. They assured me I would haven no problem getting a carrier for my car since I had notified them almost two months in advance. When the date to ship the car came and went I called Cascade...they said they needed $1325 to ship the car to Fresno. I said I wouldn't pay because they quoted me $1070 (and gas prices had decreased since the original quote, so, if anything, prices should have gone down). Then they proceeded to tell me that it would be difficult to get a truck into Fresno. I think they should have told me that when I FIRST contracted with them. Since it sounded like I wouldn't be able to ship the car to Fresno, I asked them to ship it to LA and they agreed to do it for $1070. I then got a call 2 days later and they said they could ship it to LA for $1125!!!!! I was mad at this point and reiterated that they had repeatedly told me that it would cost $1070. They agreed to ship it for $1070 and everything worked out from then on out.

However I want to explain this industry. You stated you received your quote in May. First of all its a quote, and as it states in our terms Due to changing and unpredictable market conditions, seasonal weather, traffic, mechanical difficulties and fluctuating gas prices, Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. quotes are valid for 10 days. After 10 days, please call for an updated rate. (SEE IMPORTANT CONSUMER NOTICE ABOVE) We told you when you placed your order that the price is subject to change because you were setting this up so far in advance. The carriers make the pricing for the routes, not Cascade. Then we did find a carrier to move your vehicle, you declined the truck because they wanted additional funds. So then we found another carrier to take it at you ORIGINAL quote from back in MAY. That is very rare to be perfectly honest with you. I do not understand the 1 star review. We stood behind our original quoted price. We transported the vehicle into Santa Monica as originally quoted. Everything that was ORIGINALLY QUOTED was kept and your vehicle was transported. Again I am sorry that we moved your vehicle for the quoted price. I wish I could have done more to help you. If you need anything in the future feel free to contact me.
