Cascade Review

The transportation of our vehicle involved both oceanic transport and land transport. Overall the move went well and the vehicle was received in the same condition that it was dropped of at the pickup point. Our only complaint is that there was poor communication between Cascade, us, and the pickup transporter in Anchorage. When we arrived at the carrier to drop the car, the carrier was unaware of any instructions from Cascade and assumed (without asking us) that we were shipping on a 10-day barge rather than the 6-day barge (we were not told there was an option). This was not entirely the fault of Cascade, but could have been averted with prompt and clear instructions to the carrier from Cascade before we dropped the vehicle. Our communication with Cascade was by email and indicated that Cascade was aware of when we were going to drop the vehicle and where according to their instructions. As a result, our car arrived more than a week after we needed it (due to an intervening holiday weekend). If I were to use Cascade again, I would make sure that my communication included more phone contact and not assume that they were thinking the same thing that I was, even though their email communication indicated we were.

Kimberly@Cascadevehicleshipping.com 360-834-7898 ext 230 cvs.kimberly@yahoo.com www.cascadevehicleshipping.com www.facebook.com/cascadevehicleshipping Gary, I am sorry that the message was not given to the vessel. They were told what vessel you were to sail on, they made a mistake and put you on the next vessel instead. Again I am sorry for the confusion and wish you nothing but the best. Thank you
