Just goes to show you can't please everyone. From April 6th on, my staff and I worked everyday (till 20th), with no deposit, rate quoted was $1350 to transport this customers Cadillac Escalade from WPB,FL. to Renton, WA. Because of the wt, size, fuel prices, and the carriers dealing with the snowbirds leaving FL., no one would transport this vehicle for less then $2000 (which is what the customer ended up paying) and of course if we had the go ahead to raise it to $2000 we would have moved it too. As most already know, we work very hard on each and every customer to get the best carrier and rate, along with the best service. Consequently Evelyn is my dispatcher/mother and spent many, many hours trying to help this customer (unlike most companies, we call out to carriers that we've dealt with over the years, as well as utilizing Central Dispatch).
