DO NOT USE BULLDOG TRANSPORT!!!!

BULLDOG TRANSPORT SUBCONTRACTED UNITED CAR CARRIERS, LLC. TO TRANSPORT MY 2000 CHEVY CORVETTE FROM MICHIGAN TO TEXAS. I WAS ASSURED AN 18 WHEELER/TRAILER WOULD PICK UP MY CAR. THE TRANSPORT THAT ARRIVED WAS BASICALLY A PICK-UP TRUCK AND A 2 CAR TRAILER. THE DRIVER DAMAGED THE FRONT END OF MY CAR WHEN ATTEMPTING TO LOAD IT ONTO THE TRAILER. THE APPRAISAL WAS $1327.00 . BULLDOG DID NOT CHECK TO SEE IF THE DRIVER HAD ADEQUATE INSURANCE AND HIS INSURANCE SENT ME A CHECK FOR $327.00, STATING THE OWNER IS SELF INSURED FOR THE FIRST $1000. RICK MAZA AT BULLDOG ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD GET WITH THE OWNER AND HAVE HIM PAY THE REMAINING $1000. IT HAS BEEN 6 WEEKS AND NEITHER RICK OR JOHN ROMANS OF UNITED CARRIERS WILL RETURN MY CALLS OR EMAILS AND I HAVE RECEIVED NO MONEY FOR THE DAMAGE.

BEWARE!!! BULLDOG AND UNITED CARRIERS, LLC ARE NOT HONEST COMPANIES!! DO NOT USE!!

We understand that this is a difficult situation for the customer, and mostly frustrating because it easily could have been avoided. All paperwork was provided so the customer can open a claim against the carrier. Unfortunately, the broker does that have the ability to file a claim in the name of our clients. To make matters worse, because of the damage to the bumper, this carrier did not transport the vehicle, we actually had a better carrier arrive within 48 hours at no additional charge. Per previous communication regarding this vehicle model: its recommended to always ship enclosed in order to avoid potential damage because of the low clearance.
