So far the worst in customer service

This is the first and last time I will do business with this company not because I don't move vehicles across country but because of the reasons I am about to explain. The company under bid which I thought was a firm price. I didn't do with the lowest or the highest, the company seemed legit. While my car did get picked up. The price was 26% higher then what I was originally quoted. I expected while reading the contract the price to go up. 5-10% for incidentals from past was normal. 10%-20% the company low balled. 20%+ the company manipulated. This is far from the biggest issue they have, communication, lack of customer service..... I was even told at one point. “As long as your not my customer”. I know what bad service is...I was experiencing it.

Here is why: About 5 days after I placed my order I called in left a message asking to call me. Throughout the day I would try. Eventually I left a message on the general mailbox with my #, still no response. A day or two later I finally get in touch with someone who then verifies everything is correct including the price. 2 days before the car is to be picked up I get an email letting me know the details and now the price is 26% higher then the original quote. I call in, still unable to reach the original person, when I do he said “I can't talk to you”, I have to talk to dispatch. I kept getting transferred to different departments. At one point I ask to talk to a manager and the guy yells “in coming”.... then voice mail. WTF. So again, I speak to the only person that seems to work for the company. He said I need to speak to the original person who took my order. I asked if he works for the same company then it shouldn't matter.

I got my car fast, while appreciated doesn't make up for the facts. The driver told me that he was wanting even a hundred more than that. A lot of issues could have been avoided if they had been honest with me from the start.

I have used Statewide auto transport in the past, I should have stayed with them. This has been the most irritating experience I have had in a long time...

Company lacks: communication, know how, honesty, and customer service

Company provides: manipulation, deceit, and frustration free of charge.

I will agree with Jonathan that there was a lack of communication to a certain degree. The representative that he placed the order with was in and out of the office for approximately a week due to a religious holiday. We have a very busy office and I apologize if Jonathan was transferred to different departments before someone was able to assist him. As far as the price, our representative used the prices listed on Central Dispatch to provide a proper quote. Unfortunately, in this business, we are at the mercy of the drivers and "supply and demand." We arranged the customer's transport at the lowest possible price that we were able.
