This is not a customer post, it is a post by a dealer. The vehicle was not ready for pick up when the driver arrived, even though they had been called over 6 hours earlier to let them know of the drivers arrival time. The driver arrived on the day scheduled for the pick up. The vehicle was actually delivered a day early and the customer gave the driver a $40 tip for his excellent service. This is a dealer who charged the customer $600 for transport but didn't want the customer to know that we were only paid $500. This practice is illegal unless done by a broker or disclosed to the customer. The "rude" behavior of the driver was simply to inform the dealer that if the truck was held up for over 30 minutes that there would be a detention fee charged as per our published rate tariff. Perhaps the dealer should do some research and learn the rules and laws that govern their behavior when shipping vehicles. I guess this is why they have 3 negative ratings on the dispatch board for failing to pay carriers! I am confident the actual customer would be willing to give a totally different side of this story.
