I did a great deal of research on auto transport companies before deciding to have Automotive Transport transport my Mercedes SUV from California to Massachusetts - based on their great reviews, superb rates, and friendly/accomodating service. I asked that my car be placed on the top tier of the open carrier, and they hired Johnson Trucking (based in South Carolina) who did exactly that! The truckers (James and Laura) at Johnson Trucking were kind, responsible, and professional people who took great care of my car. I put a deposit down with Automotive Transport on Tuesday morning; within 3 hours, they had arranged with Johnson Trucking to carry my car. My car was picked up on Thursday evening, and I received it in record time - 8 days cross-country. The entire time I was in close contact with the drivers themselves via cell phone, and the car was delivered door-to-door. There was no damage to my car, just a light surface of dirt which is of course expected. I had many doubts and trepidations about hiring an auto transport company, but I could not have been more satisfied. The job cost me $815 - actually the best deal I could find after getting quotes from 12 other companies. I highly commend the auto transport broker, the carrier company, and the delightful couple who carried my car such a long way! Thanks much!!
