This experience was very stressful and disappointing. After making my reservation 3 weeks before intended pickup, I was told 2 days before pickup that the transport fee would be $300 additional. I was told the vehicle would be delivered in 5 days it took 8 days. After washing my car, I noticed damage to the hood, It appears liquid from another car leaked on the hood and damaged the paint. My car was transported in July 2013 and I'm still trying to get resolve from Autoline and Mon Trans Inc as of October 2, 2013.

In the process of shipping literally thousands of cars per year, there are going to be a few nicks along the way. Autoline Transport strives to limit these occurrences to a minimum and promises that in the unlikely event where one of our vehicles is damaged in transit, that we will do everything in our power to make things right. In regards to the damage to this customer's vehicle, he would definitely have recourse for repair/reimbursable if the damage was actually done by the carrier's negligence and it was noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery. Furthermore, damage must be noted directly on the carrier's Bill of Lading, signed by driver, and submitted in writing to Autoline within 10 days of delivery date. In this case, Mr. Herb did not note any damages on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery and therefore he has no validity to his damage claim. If the damage was in-fact caused by the carrier's negligence, and it was noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery, then the carrier would have been held responsible and an insurance claim would have been filed. In regards to the vehicle being delivered late, we gave Mr. Herb as estimated transport time of 7-9 days for this route. The delivery timeframe of his vehicle was completely within reason. Lastly, when Mr. Herb placed his order, he was advised that this route was overbooked and that he would be presented with a Fast-Trac option to expedite his pickup. He chose to go with the Fast-Trac option which was an additional $175, not $300. In closing, we are terribly sorry for any inconvenience and understand that this was a very frustrating experience for the customer. However, we do not feel that this review provides an accurate representation of the services provided by Autoline Transport. As you can see from our numerous other customer reviews, issues like these are highly uncommon. Nevertheless and as always Autoline Transport will use this negative review to help us better our services and customer support procedures.
