Read the fine print.

If it seems like they cannot find a transport for your vehicle and it's getting towards the end of the 10 business day window, you may try and look for other ways to transport your vehicle. IF you DO find another company that can move your car for you, you can go with them but DO NOT CANCEL your contract with Autostar, just let the 10 days pass. Even if you no longer need their service, if you cancel before 10 business days you will NOT receive a FULL refund, only a partial one. Make sure you read the contract.

I canceled because every time I called to try and get an update, I was assured they were working on it and trying hard but there was never any progress. When my move date got closer, I decided not to cross my fingers any longer and did my own searching and had a carrier within a day. I don't understand why I was able to find my own carrier when they could not and then they still kept my initial deposit for their "hard work" when in the end I did in a day what they couldn't in 7! My fault for not reading the fine print but I had ASSUMED they would be able to find me a carrier in a more timely manner. I learned the hard way what happens when you assume.
