Lack of responsiveness and follow-up and commitment

Reached out way early and told i needed my car to be reached by "this date" and you backward plan and let me know when we should dispatch and not be sorry of "Not been delivered" Yet it just happened. Once the date is approached they will just post and its ALL your luck may be in a day - 5 day window or no one and i had to pay premium from my pocket with multiple follow-ups. i was searching for zero stars; i have paid well in advance for 2 cars and not this kind of experience. i got call from the driver before the agents reached out to me thats how proactive they were and sometimes they just avoid picking up your calls.

We are sorry to hear customer felt that the service provided was not to his standards, but we believe customer is not providing the whole picture in his review. AutoStar is a vehicle transport broker licensed to contract independent carriers for the transport of clients' vehicles. As such, AutoStar's service is to screen and assign carriers for transport. Customers provide a first available pick up date, still that does not mean vehicle will be picked up on this date, rather this is when the vehicle becomes available to be picked up. Customers are advised securing a carrier could take some time, which is why it is important they give us a 5 day window from their first available pick up date to locate a carrier. This customer transported 2 vehicles. Transport #1, vehicle became available on 06/22 and a carrier was secured on 06/25. Transport # 2, vehicle became available on 07/05 and a carrier was secured on 07/06. Both orders were dispatched within the timeframes expected to secure a carrier. As far as the lack of communication goes, customer was contacted prior to his first available dates, on the day of availability and once carriers were secured. He was also updated via text messages and emails. It is very unfortunate that he believes we were not proactive enough when it comes to his orders when in fact he was kept updated throughout the whole brokering process. We wish this customer well.
