This was my first time using a auto transport service so I fielded several offers and mad my decision rather quickly due to the fact I was on a time frame to relocate. Everything was going good and I had to leave my car with family to be picked up and transported. I was In Tucson, AZ when I was contacted by the company stating that they are still trying to find someone to transport my car. So when I asked why it was taking so long, especially since I paid my deposit (which I later found out was a service fee to Find a company to transport) I was then told that they have someone but the wanted an additional $150 on top of what I was quoted. When I stated that was not discussed and what would happen if I chose to wait, I was told that they would refund me what I paid, which is fine but I’m already halfway across country so now I have no choice but to pay the additional fee. Do your research and find a company who actually transport the vehicles instead of broker. Cut out the middle man!

Our apologies if the customer feels they did not receive the same 5 star experience our customers are accustomed to. Brokers and carriers! This is how the automobile transport industry works. Brokers supply customers to the carriers so as to keep their trucks full, and the prices down. Mr. Knoten placed his order on 08/19/2020. Customer set his first day of availability for 08/30/2020. By contract that the customer signed, we are allotted a small 5 business day window to locate an available carrier. Our Money Back Guarantee offers if we do not locate a carrier in this time frame, then you get a full refund. On 09/01/2020, the very first day of the contracted dates, we located the carrier Auto Cross Transport LLC. The carrier was asking for $150 more for his OWN fee to transport the vehicle. Negotiations such as this are very common in the industry. As the broker, it is our responsibility to the customer to present each and every offer we get from potential carriers. Our agent called and presented the offer to the customer, explained we were only on the 1st day, and we could either accept this offer or keep searching. Customer chose to accept the offer, and the order was assigned to the carrier. Very sorry if the customer has regrets about his decision now, but we offered the customer clear options, and he made his choice. We wish the customer well.
