I did get my car moved in a relatively timely manner, arrived undamaged and saved about $200 over other bids. On the down side this was very definitely NOT a 'non-stop' transport as advertised. The truck made many stops on the way, and I'm sure my car was shuffled out and back in several times during the trip. Also, the "tracking" is a matter of calling or emailing the shipper. You can't just log onto a website to see where your car is. Keep in mind that Autostar is not a transport company. They are brokers, and their business is attempting to find a shipper for the quoted price, less their commission. The "deposit" is actually the broker's fee, and the balance is the total amount the trucking company receives. In my case the shipper was apparently willing to take the car for $100 less than the bid price, so the broker kept the $100 difference.
