So yeah... we had no idea how to ship a car across the U.S. to our daughter in California, but at AutoStar they did a great job informing us about the process, costs, and delivery times. I'm glad we chose them, after researching quite a lot of companies, they had the lowest original quote of $950. Carlos was super nice and available for questions whenever we needed them answered... on the phone... or by texting. Personally, the texting was great, it kept all the information I needed handy, so I didn't lose any of it.
Our fiat was picked up on a Sunday (we did decide to pay $50 extra from the original quote, to have a driver come sooner, but it was worth it to us). On pick-up day, we first got a call with the approx time the driver would arrive, then the driver called us personally when he was 20 minutes away. Our pick up was at a local Target parking lot. The driver was nice, did a survey of our car's little scratches and chips... and was on his way. They estimated about a week, which was about right. Upon delivery, the driver met my daughter at the Car Rental location she'd be dropping off her rent-a-car... that was super convenient for her. The driver informed my daughter that he'd be in Sacramento about 9 or 10am... but our daughter couldn't pick up the car till after work, at 2pm!! The guy waited!! Super nice of him for sure!! No issues with the car's condition... all was perfect. So yeah... We'd use them again and we'll be recommending them for our friends in the future! Thanks Carlos!
