Last minute Surprises

I was in regular contact with Rodrigo in the email and over the phone. The pick up date (07/26) was well communicated as we were vacating the apartment (lease getting over on the same date). When we mailed him a day before the pick up, I was given the surprise news that
1. no carrier has been assigned yet
2. car can't be picked up and if it has to be, it should be left with a friend or someone
3. if still want it on Friday (07/26), I must pay $75 extra to some carrier.

The whole episode made us nervous.

The good news is that after paying extra, the car was picked up and delivered in 5 days in the shape it was picked up.

We appreciate all feedback from our customers, but we would appreciate if they were to present the facts truthfully and accurately. Customer booked an order with a first available ship date of 07/26, after having been fully explained how the process works, as is evident by the customer's own words that we were in regular contact. The biggest 'Last Minute Surprise' was the customer telling us two days before the first available that the 26th was their only day for pickup!! AutoStar Transport was able to get the customer a $275 expedited pickup on the 26th, for only an additional $75!! Job well done AutoStar...you saved me $200!!
