My 2012 BMW X3 was transported from Atlanta to Walnut Creek CA. along with another car. Its windscreen was damaged and had a hole in it the size of a quarter. AutoStar refuses to pay for the damage caused. They say the transporter - Alpine Transport Inc is responsible for payment, and Alpine Transport hangs the phone when we call them!

AutoStar charged me premium rates and assured me they had a 5 star rating and only used the best transportation companies and my car would be safe. Now they pass the buck around!

I have used many brokers and companies for transporting my cars across the country. But I will never use AutoStar or Alpine Transport again, for they have the worst customer service of any companies I have used, and do noy pay for damages they have done.

We did everything in our power to assist Pavan, as we do for all our customers if damage occurs to a vehicle during transport. All transport we arrange is contracted with the carrier to have an inspection at both pick up and delivery. This is so that the customer and carrier can both sign off on the condition of the vehicle prior to and following the transit. In this instance a thorough inspection was done of the vehicle at both stages and no damage was noted. Pavan only noted the damage after the carrier had delivered and subsequently contacted AutoStar the following day. We did everything we could to liaise with Pavan and carrier in order to try to resolve this however, the inspection sheet was signed without any notation of damage by Pavan therefore acknowledging that the vehicles were received in good condition.
