The Autostar transport and logistics is a company i would probably not use again. To start it off, there were errors in the info i supplied them with for the shipping info. Most of it was correct though. The agreement that i signed from them said the pick up was Dec. 29th, 30th or 31st. I sent an email to them asking for an update, never got a response. After the first of the year, i got a hold of them and it went something like this. I called my contact, could not get ahold of him. Tried the other contact number i found. I was told to call this other number, i think it was transport customer service or something. I called and tried to get info about my truck, she told me that they did not have a carrier after the first of the year, she then said she would look into it and call be back right away. She did not call back that night. The next day i had to call back up to them, she said she wasn't sure if they had a carrier, then she was like ummmmm, lemme see, it looks like we now have a carrier. I think she then said the truck was going to be picked up that day, then she came back on the line and said it was going to be picked up tomorrow. Next thing i know, i woke up the next morning and had a few missed calls. I listened to the messages, the Trucker had picked up the truck that night afterall. The trucker said that he was not given any of the info for the delivery. It turns out that they lied to the trucker as well, he was told that it was a lowered Chevy 2 wheel drive truck. The truck was a Dodge 4 wheel drive with a suspension lift and oversized tires. So finally the truck was picked up, but my girlfriend had to give the trucker the delivery info, and contact info. When the truck was delivered and it had a flat tire. The trucker and his company were very nice and got the tire replaced within 2 days. Autostar transport and logistics may have just had a bad few days or something. The trucking company that transported my truck was very good, i would probably not use this broker again. They could have told me that the pick up times were going to be delayed or something, rather than me having to worry about the people with the truck and them being around on the day it should be picked up.

Copy of email sent to Mr. Benrud with the attached dispatch sheet: David, Here is the dispatch sheet that your carrier received with all of the completed information, including the correct year, make and model of the vehicle as well as all of the delivery details. The information the carrier gave to you was incorrect, and it is unfortunate that you would post a claim that we are ‘liars’ based upon their faulty information. Furthermore, Pamela in customer service relayed to you the estimated pickup day based on what the carrier told her it would be. With trucks this size, any number of factors can result in the carrier running a little early or a little late - in this case, the carrier arrived earlier than they originally expected and earlier than they had told Pamela. I can only hope that you will reconsider your review, as it is not a fair representation of what actually occurred.
