I've used this company in the past and I've found it to be the best value. They are not responsible for damages or claims cited in shipping. That comes under the actual oceanic shipping company. Most shipping companies charge a storage fee if the vehicle is unclaimed for a designated time; usually 5 days are included with your contract. I ship my vehicle and rely on AutoStar to tell me when the best time to schedule my flight so as not to pay storage fees. They have done a great job of scheduling this for me. This last trip, the ship delivered my car early and would have cost me a minimum of 2 days of storage. AutoStar confirmed delivery with me and I informed them of the storage charges. I asked them to contact the shipper and arranged for the extra fees due to early dockage to be waved. These fees don't amount to a lot but in this economy every dollar saved is a value. The shipper did in fact allow me the extra days without any additional fees. You can feel safe shipping your valuables with AutoStar.
