*The old saying you get what you pay for APPLIES here*

John at AutoStar Transport offered us the lowest bid but that isn't why we went with his company. He told us it wouldn't be a problem he could make it happen and was very accommodating at first. he suggested I read the reviews on the company and they do a lot of volume and that's why he was able to come in with the lowest price. I told him the fact that his bid came in on average $300 less then the other 10 quotes was alarming but he assured me his company could make it happen.
Well it never happened! At one point he asked us to sign another contract paying an additional $50 to move the truck to make the offer better and we did agreeing to pay more so they did get us a driver but then he cancelled?? I'm sure it's because the driver was offered more money to move a vehicle on his open end trailer.
The problem now is getting the "refundable" deposit back. We did as instructed by sending an email to cancel the contract after the 10 business days and requesting the funds back but as of this morning we haven't heard from John or anyone at the company.

A hard lesson learned, my advice go with a higher bid because they contract out the transport jobs and the more you pay the more offers a company will get to move your vehicle.

Best to all those seeking to transport your ride!

Nicole and Michael, We are very sorry the carrier we assigned this transport, Dale Adams (Carrier) - Cottontown, TN, 615-636-1081, did not come through for you or us. When the carrier cancelled, claiming he believed the measurements of the truck to be 21ft+, we contacted him, as our calculations show the vehicle to be 19ft. He still declined to take the load stating he had already left the area. We attempted unsuccessfully to secure another carrier on the route, and offered bonuses from our pocket for any carrier willing to take it. I know this situation was extremely frustrating for everyone, and I sincerely apologize that we were unable to secure another carrier. John and the dispatch department worked diligently contacting carriers that have run this route for us previously. Unfortunately, those had no available spaces on their trucks. We wish you the best, and again, apologize for the inconvenience. Best regards, Mike Cannon Operations
