Excellent service and resolution of carrier issue

I read a lot of reviews, got a number of quotes (but did not go for cheapest), and tried to contact several brokers. Autostar was always available by email or phone, and courteous and honest in communications. I realized that the broker did not control the carrier, but Autostar seemed like a good bet. I made the car available Wed and it was picked up on Saturday. Carrier estimated delivery in western Florida on Wednesday. On Tuesday, driver called my relative, but did not give an estimated delivery time other than between the call time (9AM) and sometime the following day. My relative had to work 5-9 that evening, got to work and immediately got the call that the driver was at the delivery address. She requested that they bring the car about 8 miles (15 mins) to where she worked, and they agreed, but told her it would be and extra $50. She agreed because she seemed to have no other option. The car was delivered in perfect shape. Given that the new location was so close, I was surprised and disappointed about the extra fee. I called Mike at Autostar and he agreed. He talked to both the carrier and my daughter to get the details and asked the carrier to return the check. Mike then followed up with me until I got the check. Excellent service, reasonable price, excellent resolution of issue with carrier. Note: If you think you may need to change the delivery address in the destination area, ask the carrier beforehand.
